  1. Don't get exhausted. He is constantly getting away with calling serious news agencies "fake news". Only by constantly re-iterating truth can this spree of dumbness be stopped. Journalists need to stand together. When Dump slights one who asked an honest question, the others should just repeat the same question until the coward retreats in shame. Dutch reporters did that when the new Dump-appointed ambassador tried the same fake news shit. Was very embarrassing for mr Hoekstra ;-) The Dutch haven't forgiven him yet.

If not, we will make life for you as hard as possible". You can't accept that. It is, however, with a very heavy heart that I say this. I am all for compromise and harmony, building bridges. But Justice is paramount. You can not, ever, turn a blind eye to crimes for the sake of "unity", or try to build bridges when the other party demands that you come all the way to their side. The Trump administration has violated the Constitution in dozens of ways, if not more. The USA can not afford to turn a blind eye to that. In relationships like marriage, you can sometimes opt to give the other party a second chance (not a third one!). But the more authority the wrongdoer has, the more critical it is to hold him/her accountable. If the POTUS gets away with a crime, any crime, the Rule of Law in the USA has failed. And that is unacceptable.

Faux has been caught with their pants down several times, photoshopping together images of peaceful protesters, flames and broken shop windows to make it seem that there were riots. For a group that says they love the constitution, you forget that the right to protest is the FIRST amendment. And thus more important to the minds of those that created it than the amendments that came after it. Why don't we hear you hypocrites complain more about FIRST amendment rights being violated? There is this nice principle in the Bible, that when you violate one law, you become guilty of violating the whole law. You can't be selective about which parts of the constitution to uphold. You either uphold ALL of it, or you don't uphold it at all. Republicans have made it overly clear that all their words of upholding the constitution don't mean anything at all. You piss on the constitution, by allowing Dump to frustrate congress in its constitutional job of performing oversight over the executive. You piss on the constitution by refusing to hear witnesses during the impeachment trial. You piss on the constitution by letting federal, unmarked troops intimidate and harass protesters. You piss on the constitution by holding that the president can not be indicted for any crime, and thus placing him above the law. You piss on the constitution by supporting systemic racism. You piss on the constitution by defunding the US mail service, which by article 1.8.7 of the constitution is a federal responsibility. You piss on the constitution by letting Dump interfere with the prosecution of criminals. You piss on the constitution by letting Dump use the the DoJ to sick his enemies. You piss on the constitution by letting the president invite foreign interference in elections, live on television. You piss on the constitution by allowing Dump to withhold funds that were allocated by congress. You piss on the constitution by allowing the president to have corrupt quid-pro-quo's. You piss on the constitution by allowing Dump to intimidate witnesses, live on Twitter. And I could go on. And on. The GOP is morally bankrupt. Time for it to be taken out of its misery.

The best way forward would be to get rid of district voting, and tabulate all votes across the country to determine who get to represent the USA citizens. But the current GOP has shown itself to be completely bankrupt, morally. No-one in any position of leadership in the GOP can claim to "uphold the constitution" anymore. All enablers of the current disaster need to leave the political arena at our earliest convenience. Perhaps former Republicans like yourself can cause the cancer of corruption to be excised....? I do not know what the future is for rural or otherwise "conservative" voters. Some new party should arise to represent them--or they should come to realize that the Democratic party is already right-wing enough, and a new party should arise at the left of the Democrats. Mind you, an honest analysis of what has been achieved by political parties may well reveal that the Dems were better for you all along. The Reps have mainly stuffed their own pockets and those of rich businessmen. They are full of talk that tickles the ears of certain demographics, but what have they actually achieved? The Senate chose to postpone the trial until after the transfer of power, they could have condemned him before that. I can't believe you are standing up for a man who organized a friggin storming of the Capitol! Why do you and these senators cling on to flimsy excuses to avoid condemning Trump for that? But no worries, Trump will get his due from the federal courts.
