Like any right-wing christian. Jesus was definitely on the left-wing, with a strong social agenda. Certainly not communist, but strongly social. As in "Love thy neighbour", and "Give to the poor". The only difference between the current "isms" and Jesus' teachings is that He wants people to do good out of love and compassion, not under any pressure. You don't get points in heaven for "doing good", but you certainly get a better society--which is what Jesus is also after.

Jesus did have plenty to say about adultery, grifting from the poor, serving others, lying, caring for the sick, weak, poor & inmates, and being true to your promises...

@thedebatemechannel4746 This is what I don't understand. Jesus said that "his kingdom is not of this world", yet these people are hell-bent on controlling government at every cost. Every time that christians tried to get worldly power, we see a human disaster. When are we ever going to learn from our Master?

The evangelical so-called "christians" have forgotten that Jesus said "My Kingdom is NOT of this world". Every time any christian group tried to cling to or gain worldly power (as the evangelicals are trying to), that group was thoroughly corrupted and stopped building the Kingdom of God. I am not talking about Godly men and women being capable leaders and beacons in their nation, but about an organisation telling people how to vote to achieve their own nefarious means, or because they hope to be able to force women not to have abortions. Biden is much more a man of God than Trump is, so any real Christian will prefer him over this scumbag, Dump.

Sadly, many GrOPers will accept that. REMEMBER WHAT THEY DID, PEOPLE! They white-washed every crime Dump committed. Even that he knowingly led 210,000 people to the grave. If anyone thinks the GOP senators couldn't have known what was to happen in 2020 and thus have an excuse for not removing him from office last winter, think again. When the news broke about Dump knowing in February how devastating this virus could be, the GOP senate could easily have conferred with the democrats to have an expedited impeachment for it. That would have shown moral fiber. But they fail to stop the man, even as he is purposely infecting the whole government. #VoteThemOut

@medfoto1 That may be true for some unscrupulous "evangelical" leaders, but not for the vast majority of people who vote for Dump. They must have other reasons to so violate their conscience and moral authority.
