  1. While it is unique for the USA to have a former president convicted, it is definitely not unique in the world. France, for instance, convicted a former president a few years ago. In Democracies, no-one is above the Law. Yet it has looked like there were two separate sets of law in the USA, one for the poor, one for the rich. Trump's case will be a huge shake-up of the legal profession in the USA.
