  1.  @readsomebooks666  You should read something before you comment on it. SCOTUS rulings do not necessarily refer to law, as SCOTUS' job is to refer to the Constitution. Which the dissenters do. But it does refer to Common Law for precedent how the Constitution should be interpreted. And what do you mean by "politically motivated"? Do you think the dissenters will get more votes because of this? That is absurd. The Dissenters have been appointed for life, they don't give a damn about the politics of an issue. I find the arguments by the dissenters to be much more compelling that the arguments by the majority. Overthrowing 50 years of legal precedent without any change in the Constitution or underlying societal issues, that is legal "dreck".

  2. I hope and pray that this episode will convince the non-voting majority in the USA that it IS important to vote. Otherwise that right will be taken from you, as it already has in some places by e.g. the closing of polling stations. The American Experiment will only succeed if every generation takes its responsibility to VOTE!
