  1. It is more apt to compare the GOP to the Nazi party directly. In the beginning, the NSDAP was not all-in with Hitler. But he took over and removed all opposition, made the NSDAP a vehicle for his grandeur, just like Trump has with the GOP. The GOP is doing more than just nothing. It is actively supporting him, like those senators and representatives that continue to reject the Biden win, and those that did not even allow to hear witnesses during the impeachment "trial".
