This is an absolutely reasonable counter-attack by the Ukrainians, and will not change anything apart from improving the tactical situation for Ukraine. Stop being so afraid of Putin! He is using that fear to lead you by the nose. I am sure that if a squadron of A10's strafed Russian columns inside Ukraine at the request of Zelensky, Putin would do nothing except protest. The west could even lease the planes & crews to the Ukrainians to make it completely legit. You deal with bullies by standing up to them.
