  1. We see this even in non-Russian, so called "free" countries, where people vote based on their "tribe" instead of the policies proposed by the various politicians. Regardless of how untrustworthy their "tribe" is or how often they betrayed their voters. Case in point: the USA and UK. However the public opinion in both these countries has received a LARGE amount of direction from Putin himself.

  2.  @olegkosygin2993  Of course, the situation in e.g. Russia (or even Hungary) is much worse, but both the UK and USA are in the process of becoming like them: Demockracies.
