If I remember correctly, the signatures of the UK, the USA and Russia are on the treaty guaranteeing Ukraine's territorial integrity that was a condition for the Ukrainians surrendering all their nuclear weapons. So it is not just an expedient to help Ukraine win this war. The UK and the USA are honour-bound to interfere in this war and help Ukraine remove all Russian soldiers from its surface. And if Putin dares to open his mouth, remind him of that treaty. And if Whataboutists complain they didn't interfere in Georgia or Chechnya, well, those nations did not have such a treaty. But Ukraine does. <edit>: I had written "all Russians", but of course there used to be a lot of ethnic Russians living in parts of Ukraine. I am not talking about them, but about Putin's soldiers.
