  1. The only way to become free of a regime like that of the Communists, a nation needs to radically distance itself from it and educate its people on what that regime did and why that was wrong. Germany did it after WW2. Now they are one of the most successful nations in the world. Putin did the opposite, and has become like the USSR in its brutality -- but not in power. Those days are past.

  4. That general is absolutely right. When Ukraine wins this war, they deserve to join NATO. Putin has lost any rights to complain about it. What more can he do about it? Suck it up, Putin.
