  1. "It is safe in the USA" That is not a particularly good analysis. Geologically, environmentally and socially the situation in the USA is very different from that in the UK. So to just say "it is safe there, it must be safe here" is absurd. That is, even if you trust the colonials to do such an analysis properly for themselves.
