  1. Well said. Parliament is Sovereign, and government its servant. While on the topic, personally I find the whole concept of the Whip abhorrent. MP's should be free to vote as they see fit, free from any pressure or fear of censure. My (Dutch) constitution explicitly says so. Time for the UK to adopt a similar rule.
