@patrickmccutcheon9361 It is not the speaker's job to ensure the question is answered. Nor that the record is corrected. It is the government's. However, a government that fails to do either, continuously, should lose the confidence of the House, and should thus be stopped by a motion of No Confidence. What we see is not the corruption of the Speaker, nor the corruption of the government, but the corruption of the Tory party who would STILL not support a MoNC. Unless the Tory MPs take responsibility, there is nothing anyone can do about this except confront and humiliate the clown ad nauseam.

@patrickmccutcheon9361 I agree. A point can be made that the Speaker should hold the PM on topic when he is supposed to be answering a question, but he has no power to actually make him give an answer.
