If Mick Lynch is lucky enough, the frustration of all workers who are feeling the cost of living will orbit around him and support stays and the government are seen as responsible. The Government is also responsible because they scrapped the previous system that allowed the train companies to negotiated themselves with the unions in the name of austerity and instead took control of the process, so even the rail companies are saying they can't actually talk with the unions because of the government controlling the process.
