  1. I dont think these terms really make sense for europe. Eastern europe makes sense because it is the countries under the USSR. But central europe doesn’t really make sense because the groupings become arbitrary, why should Checzhia, germany and poland be grouped together? makes more sense to speak anout germanic europe, baltics, nordics, slavic europe, balkans, iberian, etc imo. Geographically europe is too uneven and pointy with peninsulas and strange borders
