Ask Richard Wolfe, for god's sake

A holy grail would be publicly owned utilities, including renewable energy. The concept doesn't even exist in the US.
2
Democracy is nowhere near the dominant form of government What does Wester Economic and military dominance have to do with democracy? Did you forget the colonial empires? Don't bullsh!t your audience Ian. Ian, you would do well to contact Robert Morris of MofreedomFoundation
2
But you're gonna be in work tomorrow, right??
2
Nothing to be said about the change and evolution away from private ownership models that conveniently holds authority and sway over public, political and legal life.
2
It's all in the domain of private interests, so...
2
@chrisp1733 Chris... What part of US war mongering isn't true? Or more dangerous? Did you happen to forget the wars in Libya, Syria and Yemen? Iraq and Afghanistan? The backlash that put a decade long refugee crisis on to Europe bringing a new rise to fascist politics? Who is more dangerous with a proven track record?
2
Spitting Image competitor!
2
Ian is a puppet.

One would consider the history of the deadly military intervention and colonizations of the Latin Americas for commercial plantations would warrant more than 9 seconds Glossing over history like it's nothing is an English man's way of understanding reality.
2
@globesurfer122 and you told him to relax ? You and your micro nuclear fantasy.
2
We're still in that "Post war Liberal order". Nothing about it is broken, it's ticking away, bringing us Trump.
2
It's the free (dark) market. That's what you yanks fought and couped for across the entire Americas
2
Like it or learn it, waiting to depend on whether Sanders drops out is not time spent wisely. Why would Sanders not finish the Primaries, like last time? If Joe Biden expects rather than work toward to win over Sanders' key supporters, then Sanders will likely stay till the very end.
2
I would thumbs for for Antonio Guterres, but the rest of this video just STUNK! There's an unmistakable but faint line between reporting and advocacy.
2
That's just self defeating logic.
2
There's public interest And there's public dialogue and control involved in the important decisions that have mostly been made exclusively by political and legal leaders. For example, it was in none of the public's interest in within the UK or the US to invade Iraq in 2003. But that decision was made anyways for the reasons we remember well.

Be honest, it's a genocide blanketed by an information war

UK: 5:06 No way!? What do you mean and "wait until" post brexit? 😂Theresa May😂 Their gov't is a similar shade of shambles to the US (just not as bloodthursty) TLDR news has done excellent coverage over brexit and essentially the UK has blown its transition negotiations and the EU brexit lead negotiator has spoke of grave, disappointed developments. Recent UK news has shown ex-PM of Australia Tiny Abbott to be hired as Boris Johnson's new brexit trade strategist. So a bit of free crony trade for local enterprises will be made rather swimmingly. So quite clearly a Boris-Trump shotgun marriage trade deal started to sour (not least because N.Pelosi and the bipartisan Irish Friends of Congress vowed to veto in the House any trade deal that undermines the 1997 Good Friday Agreement.

@shazmosushi Haha, that's amazing I see. I was using the app and didn't see into the descriptions box.
1
You should get Jeffery Donaldson represented here for the crucial situation that will return again and again with Northern Ireland X Brexit

Robert Morris of MofreedomFoundation takes this topic to a fresh new level

How to make sense of the global politics, world and economy? What is the invisible hand in the markets? The invisible money in those hands of the free-market think tanks.
1
Best way to do that is to remove the private profiteering model of weapons manufacturers. There cannot be any tolerance for profiteering from war. Not limited to weaponry, but that also includes capitalising off of Ukraine selling off public assets, infrastructure and collective farms. Ukraine is being exploited by those who claim to support it.
1
CRT didn't take any central stage It's being capitalized as a sectarian and tool, an exploitable scapegoat by conservative media & social media conglomerates to fool gullible Americans as a claw back from their loss of the 2020 election. It's honestly sickening It's all a grifter's marketing game. And some have the gall to spin the word "sheeple" around by its tail

And Reparations: climate, colonial and worker capital

Something something, building gallows in Central Park...

Nobody should care on the face of it But what should be cared about is how Elon is absolutely wasting him time, and stirring the pot at a time of inevitable US civil war. 😐🔨🇺🇸✨

That's the quiet part

With what? A living monument to segregation from the DNC?

God almighty Ian 🤦🤦♀️🤦♂️

The US has no moral authority when its citizens are rioting against US financial, political, security institutions and blatant discriminatory murder.
1
@0:15 Are those worries valid in 2019 however? Mixed, suburban purple districts and states prove to be open minded, and are showing signs of voting progressive. What Obama represented is no longer in favour with the American republic. Obama is not forgotten for representing the Banking & Finance political donors. Why else was Hillary his endorsed candidate?
1
No way it would not! Have you not heard of revolving door politics? They will spend their energy making themselves a safety net to be on a board of investors and advisors if their terms can be limited. What's needed is the obliteration of corporate donations and lobbying. Not hard to imagine, just hard to execute for a "nothing will fundamentally change" democrat/republican.
1
A diametric change in socioeconomic organisation? No, politicians, their ideological and industrial donors, our bosses and landlords won't even humour a better society for all.

"Dependability" me hole...

And the EU

1:40 it's a shockingly bad precedent. Politics is everything to do with life and society, politics itself should not be boring or else you want a "boring" few to make the dominant moves and narratives on behalf of everybody. It's alluding to a public that does not focus on the powers that govern them, which was practically what led the US in to Trump.
1
@delatroy You know well that the US $ is exceptionalist. US treasury creates money first, taxes later to "destroy" it. All that poverty, starvation, defunded welfare, schools and health related bankruptcies that US citizens suffer, those are political decisions.

As an Irish person, please don't Paddy wash the guy whose career politics couldn't be farther removed from our identity and interests as a nation and solidarity abroad. The crime bill for example is Thatcherite, it's a continuation and mirroring of Anglo-American politics of the 1980s. Deeply problematic. Biden is the characterisation of the "Liberal Wolf" that Martin Luther King warned highly of. Celebrating of how Irish Biden is, is a show of hospitality, tourism and JFK-tradition - but they're all taken advantage of. And you're right to at least acknowledge those hurdles for Boris and his Brexit basket. It doesn't mean that Biden's and Boris' jobs don't operate in similar fashion, enabling weapons manufacturers to visit children with programs at their schools whilst simultaneously getting very wealthy on supplying Saudi Arabia with arms to devastate Yemen. Because England's and America's interests in war and the middle east are the same; Iran

And the Palestinians deserve not to be abused and called as vermin

Racism is a tool of class division. Don't forget it, those who are kept poorer and poorest are those policed the strongest - the working class. So when we say "Defund the police" and refund schools and medical clinics, it's a step toward getting a peak at class universality. "Law and Order" is a tricky psyop, what the "Order" implies exactly is what needs strong scrutiny.

But the world is held captive by free markets that have created and politicised global warming
1
Don't you dare with your superficial bullshite
1
There has been zero preparation in the first place. Can't you recognize green washing when it doesn't bother you? The transition toward gas as a "intermediate" was never agreed by anyone but government/politics and industrialists in oil and financing.
1
It's the economy that has failed completely. And the late stage of capitalism and American Empire The clownery on the internet in the US is a vent, and a resourceful tool; a product of the US' own failings capitalised by the likes of Fox's Tuckerson, Trump and other dangerous grifting, fascist despots. The economy failed by creating the climate crisis and preventing the action to address it Failed in preparing for covid Failed to educate beyond the job market (critical thinking, civil and socioeconomics, history) Failed in a speculative housing crisis and homelessness epidemic Failed in the deindustrialized rust belt. Failed in the onslaught of income poverty and health care So many things contribute to social malaise. But you can have the gumption to blame it on social media and video games.
1
Long story short to why Brexit is such in a raveling shambles: It's Northern Ireland. It's the DUP. And almost everyone in Great Britain - besides the Irish living there and else where - have no notion of what's going on with the backstop and the balance of power within the Tory-DIP coalition.
