  3. If you're gonna call Keir Starmer's Labour left, I have some shaking news for you. Immigration is easy bait for many, it is presented as threatening. What helps is to acknowledge some grasp of market forces that existed in our western societies, like what encourages migration and emigration. What many people like us in "rich" countries experience now is an antagonisation of "change". That we see in both housing and employment markets and on the street (tourism more like). Housing is the giant problem in many "globalised" countries now. The lack of supply both state owned and speculative is not only a blight in society it's a catalyst for political narratives that western white communities are being erased - as a consequence of years of political policies since before and after the 2008 financial crisis. But the far right will never articulate anything about the market . But any left politician that does would receive far more political and media suppression than the right. And right wing supporters (who aren't well off) end up being the biggest loser's of their own ambitions.
