Don't worry, everyone's been way ahead on this. Because of the whole production hell, it's easier or more convenient to produce cars that have all the features at mass pace. It would be more difficult to start with the base model, then add luxuries later. If I'm not mistaken that's what happened to the AMC Pacer, they rushed it bad.
