  7. FINALLY VOX But it must be said. Within the first half of the video a lot of history in this has been skimmed over. Like what were causes of violence in the 60s (Response to Civil Rights Protests). What actually determines this border (old countryside counties). Who actually carved out Northern Ireland (Protectionist Unionist Industrialists that long feared of Home Rule turning communist and discriminatory). It just adds to weight to how complicated and how out of reach the topic of Northern Ireland are to most people (outside of Ireland). This is as light as a comment can get. Let's just say I'm starting to have doubts over your other uploads in foreign policy, Vox. But happily surprised to see this in my subs box, although it's like 26 months too late and not as up to scratch as your other pieces.

  14. The fullychargedshow has been taking about the *"bathtub effect" for years now. Am surprised Vox is so far behind to bring this out. Anyways, as solutions go, battery home/office storage systems with solar panels, or vehicle to grid (V2G) will bring a bout of benefits. Especially reducing afternoon peak demand and the emissions associated with it.

  20. The very fact that a 100% fossil fuel grid up until recently is why such technologies aren't readily available because there wasn't a market for instantaneous energy storage - in contrast to gas peaker plants

  26. Why do I feel the quality for Vox is dropping when they have to use GoT as an analogy. Just use a historical example, like the 1930s trade war between the UK and the newly formed Free Irish State. It's almost as if this is a new, unfamiliar topic to have struck the minds of what seems to be a homogenized or melded scape of the US & UK (Oceania more like to some people).

  42. Hey, give a look at Northern Ireland. Many people have just started to consider the Irish border, but hardly any of them understand. Now Brexit atatis his rate of projection is for all its trouble risks implementing a WTO border between us and the UK, and that border will have to follow centuries old and chartered land, rivers and some 275 roads and an underestimated but countless amount of farm crossings.

  45. Adam Desai I know, of course. But the subject of the border between Northern Ireland and Ireland has been a serious one for 2 years now. It was deliberately kept out of British space, and had gone nowhere internationally. Only now has it gotten attention given by how insurmountable it is and no one really elsewhere still understands it - because no one had heard of it in full to begin with. But then again, within one month everyone everywhere hypes up and makes a video on another Royal family wedding. *rolls eyes* Whatever that keeps the Proles happy I guess..
