  2. 10 years too late. Toyota of all manufacturers should've been the first to produce a modern BEV and Hybrid utility vehicle, not the Ford Maverick. Even Peugeot and Citroën's Berlingo electric is the only electrified "Toyota" commercial in Europe. Not one hybrid in their entire EU commercial line up. The crossover bZ4x is embarrassing. Toyota has squandered electrification and is in a tailspin No tears should be shed for Toyota's executives when they get bailed out and when Chinese competition plaster the walls with them🙄

Their cheapest here in Europe is a faux crossover AygoX starting from €20,000. They're in an undeniable decline While Chinese EVs today are capable of ruining Toyota, Honda, GM, KIA-Hyundai.

This is sadly a giant crossover-SUV pig encrusted with digital bells n whistles that's competing in the company car race, ie upmarket executive class rather than being an accessible product for all; ie keeping up with the Teslas Why is this not scrutinised but every fool tells eachother that EVs are the problem and not the market manipulation and anti-EV executives? The Skoda Citigo/VW eUP were the right kind of car at the right time and VW execs hated building it. Imagine the continuous development that city car could have, an estate, newer battery chemistries both potent and cheap, a micro PHEV, etc...

  15. Mitsubishi should not have killed off the iMiEV or the R&D for a bargain level EV. There's an excellent small Leo car EV in Japan and that little ev is serious forbidden fruit for the rest of the world. What Mitsubishi has done was pioneered the Outlander PHEV in 2012 off the data and parts left over from the iMiEV but the Outlander is not enough on its own these days, especially in such an oversaturated market of crossovers.

  30. I like the I.D BUZZ, but it was underwhelming if not disappointing and bad value for money given all the buzz and hype it was given for almost 7 years since its concept. The Short Wheel Base should not be a 5 seater only for its entry price, that was ridiculous. It's like a NewBeetle, it's a ripoff for profit because nostalgia It is still better than getting a Range Rover imo

Feck off with that faff, Hyundai would ought to know given that their first Ioniq came in both hybrid, PHEV and EV to anticipate demand of which most of the production by the end of its production run was producing EVs. hybrids had over 20 years of prime of which Toyota squandered in selling turbo diesels until 2017. . Plugin hybrids were feasible 10 years ago and Toyota didn't bother until pressed. If there's anything that is a detriment to EVs, it's not apartments, it's politics and the relentless SUV oversaturation that has made every new car far more expensive/profitable and energy intensive along with diminishing the variety of products to choose from.
