All that Peru's president has done was spoke about reform, and the conservative majority Congress silenced him and accused him of a coup without any evidence that he had the means to do so. All of our western media had done so and didn't expect any more to come of it. The Peruvian are not easily fooled, they voted for their president and his policies. The state violence only amplifies this.
