This should not be called the "brexit" general election. The People are stuffed and bollocksed by how brexit 3 years ago was politicized. A general election goes beyond brexit and brexit shouldn't even be thought of. But unfortunately, the DUP, the BP and the Tories only have brexit as a key promotional tool. So too do the LibDems who are capitalising off of revoking brexit. The SNP see brexit as an assault to Scotland and an opportunity to independence. Sinn Féin never once saw sense in brexit, an exceptional threat to Ireland but a guaranteed step to Irish reunification and defeating the veto-trigger-happy DUP. The DUP are nuts. And Labour... Labour by the looks of it is going to campaign around brexit quite refreshingly. They're going to speak about all of the conditions of living since Cameron & Osborne, they're going to attack at the massive wealth inequality and the rules that rigged it to be. 100,000 people died in the 9 years of austerity, most lost by put upon lives of the north england counties. Labour is getting to the heart of what (very broadly) caused brexit. And Labour is definitely taking notes and molding its own identity off the ginormous Progressive Bernie Sanders wave growing in the United States.
