  2.  @John77Doe  True, Renault bought them up and Ghosn ravaged revolutionised the manufacturing assembly. My comment was addressing the image he made in Japan back in the early 00s. He was new, he was a public figure associated with Europe and S.America - and he quickly axed away huge a portion of the workers in a very callus, unceremonious way. The lay offs weren't respectful or considerate treatment in their eyes. So for many this news was longingly welcomed.
