Excessiveness and opulence in one lump sum with a dark history.

It could be better off being: More affordable More efficient More compact Less posh/pretentious More like a real Skoda basically
2
@aaaatttt101 an ATV? 😂
2
@TheKenzhang have you not seen the arctic heatwaves in winter?
2
Citroën 2CV/1st gen C3, Citroën DS, Citroën Traction Avant
2
😟🙄🙄 There's a time and a place for Executive play things and corporate competition. But today and tomorrow, affordable, competent and modest EVs are desperately needed to be mass produced.
2
India better regulate its automotive market very quickly, or it will end up with deadly polluting turbo diesel Crossovers that the Germans are all too happy to find a market for to sell for a high profit.
2
Do not embarrass yourself
2
One look at the current car market in Europe speaks volumes of how unprepared the competition and business logic is to electrification. Profit begets problems, and inflation
2
The problem is poor efficiency at the expense of bigger, heavier and more profitable vehicles Capital in politics is why fossil fuels are incentivised for over a century and why there's so much poorly compromised policies and wealth inequality. Don't be so obtuse
2
And what is MINI now? Over bloated luxury items and a lineup focusing more on SUVs
2
Everything went far too up market. Just a month ago in Ireland a 2021 VW GOLF R selling for €98,000

Actually watch the video dumbdumb

Why do you side with human rights abusers and Genocidal states?
1
The car of choice for overgrown, grey assholes.
1
@dragospahontu the business model has to be entirely reworked

🎯 capitalism

Better than any current mini...

Why do many people think Tesla is "Superior" ? Tesla never sold a single internal combustion engine. Aside from Volvo, ever car maker (its executives) manufactured fake PR against the viability of electricity. as they solely profited from internal combustion. It's all about selling s***e to us people.
1
In your glorified suburban tank
1
Uh ... It would be better than scrapping them all for building new diesel combustion which aren't more environmentally friendly or fuel efficient, but far less labour intensive Steam boilers btw are a store of potential energy, so are batteries (chemical)
1
Easy segway to talk about the strict restrictions that Hemp and Bamboo growers face compared to the incentives given to environmentally destructive forest plantations...
1
@DWREV it's a cash cow being milked dry targeted exclusively towards the affluent buyer. A far cry from the MINI's namesake
1
At least you have the Ford Maverick. Just begs the question why Ford waited until 2022 to make a hybrid pick up
1
You think it's about the 🐽 grill? Far from it. BMW dropped the ball on copying every other competitor by prioritising SUVs
1
The fossil capitalists dug in their heels until too late and jeopardised the European economy
1
Bingo
1
Blame the fake ass woke moral panic of the pathetic fools
1
Keep shucking that clean diesel, aye?
1
At best
1
The political hypocrisy of EU commission to strangle out Chinese competition that offers more choice of affordable and accessible EVs, including more sustainable battery chemistries to entice Europeans from the poor and overwhelming choice of premium SUVs - screams to the high heavens But no one bats an eye for Tesla's disheartening behaviour in its Berlin plant or its crazed CEO's antisemitic yet pro-zionist/pro-genocide rhetoric and stunts.

0:46 Wonder who placed Venezuela under sanctions, stole $1 billion of Venezuela's gold, siezed their oil tankers and oerformed coup attempts for being opposed to the US ? Woneer why fracking became so popular in the US? 🔥🌎
1
It's become a parody of itself Meanwhile the ICJ has condemned Israel of Apartheid, Genocide and complete violation of the Oslo accord. DW does not attempt to recognise it

Common denominator marketing
1
We're sick to the back teeth with our governments and a neoconservative/EPP hijacked EU council that puts industry and "competition" above all else, even the climate crisis. It's capitalism interfering in our democracy and governments, yet democracy in the workplace is absurd??

@DWREV my budget is only available for second hand cars €5000>× , so when I will replace my 13 year old Toyota hybrid, I will have to wait until 2025/26 when true practical EVs become attainable second hand at 10 years old. If I could buy new and if Toyota had a full electric Prius, I wouldn't hesitate. I would definitely praise it. I wouldn't touch a german, premium plug-in hybrids made for high profitability to appease "ordinary customers" through their more simple, single motor hybrid design alone. I do approve of the BMW i3 however. That's a very well designed and constructed car, despite its oddness .
1
@DWREV if you like a deep dive into plug in hybrids, I recommend contacting Nikki Gordon Bloomfield of Transport Evolved right away.
1
@baronvonjo1929 Squeezing every ounce of profit and more profit each quarter (and against the forces of inflation) will eventually harm the quality of the build.
1
@johndavidson3424 they share platforms. Look at what happened to Skoda, it's nothing like the bargain brand it was desired to be.
1
Constantly interrupted and stiffed you mean
1
German auto executives (and other western brands like Toyota) have denied, delayed and squandered the 2010s, the necessity to electrify and the need to plan. They brought this to themselves and working people dependant on their employment. What happened with Dieselgate was a slap on the wrist. Like the 2008 bankers of Ireland's crash, they'll get off lightly, or bring the Icelandic treatment to the executives of these industries, especially oil and deforestation
1
Can't wait. European automakers like Renault had no trouble building in Turkey
1
Capitalism and exploitation of workers Also, look at what you're typing into

Preferably children should be encouraged to have autonomy of mobility, such as walking, cycling and public transport. Driving our kids to school is detrimental to their development
1
@Levitiy don't, be the bigger person and justify for better public transport, etc
