Weakening consumer spending and confidence, crippling wealth inequality, and a "competitive" car market that spent the last decade pushing and financing Crossovers, SUVs, premium and "sub premium" products. That's a vulnerable show of corporate greed and a vulnerable weakness in the now virtually vacuous entry level market, even kia/ hyundai have gone too upmarket And we all wonder where inflation comes from? Inflation and Profiteering is an incestuous affair. Wreckless dealer mark ups has its own share of blame. But noooo, blame the EVs to why the Ford Fiesta and Toyota Yaris are dead; not the greed and incompetence of unsustainable and competitive profit growth, not economic inevitably of a boom bust cycle. It's just boring at this stage, as boring as the sea of premium crossovers that everyone is sick and tired of.

  40. The Echos are very much like sedan Yarises here in Europe. The OG Prius was definitely a slightly stylised version of the frumpy european Toyota Corolla that was not sold in the US.
