And EU laws didn't replace UK laws, every member has sovereignty over its own laws. 3. Greece is finally turning over, and Northern Macedonia (and Northern Ireland too_) will be the newest members coming in. As for the UK, the story is that there was nothing wrong to begin with that brexit is trying to address. It was your Tory government that dusted its hands and held them up, allowing monopolies and billionaires take over your services and housing. Admittedly, it's the EU's value of autonomy for every member that had allowed the UK to wound itself. And 4. I recommend you to read anything besides the BBC, Daily Mail, Sun, Sky, Telegraph and so on. You English have been deprived of a credible news diet. Read outside of England.

There are two options (removing the Irish backstop is globally unaccepted); either the backstop applies to the UK in-full, or the backstop returns to its original design as a Nothern Ireland-only protection. If we all remember honestly, the backstop was N.I-only, but because Theresa May relied on the 10 DUP parliment seats to make a majority, she had to oblige to the DUP's (and UVF) "blood red lines" that NI cannot be different from GB. If we take Brexit as an engine, and the backstop was a buffer beam stop; if there's no stop to anything, the house of peace of northern Ireland will be smashed through, and the breakfast and eggs ruined.
