  1. All I heard was justification and hypocrisy of stupid decisions. It's just the same behavior as the women criticized. It's materialistic people scrambling around trying to do everything but the thing they know is right, hoping their way works. Having uncommitted relationships only shows they are just as scared or unfaithful as anyone else, they just compensate with resources and image. He sounds conflicted and I think he knows it and just hoping his way works out in the end. I really don't see it any different than the women on their shows.

  2. I miss when buying CDs and going through booklets meant something. You collected something and you had it. And it's true with so much music, you have to hunt through for something good.

  5. Unfortunately, many cathedrals were made to draw people into churches because of our sense of beauty. It was really to honor the church itself, not God, because only it or kings could afford such luxury and decadence. The contrast of Jesus to a pope is stark given what we know of the corruption taken place the same time and why large scale paintings and sculptures were requested. Some were more humble than others and saw it as too much, the Medici went all out. I think we need a balance as we may end up with amazing buildings honoring mankind and it's ability, and pride and hubris follows men like a shadow.
