  2. Likely why surveillance is so crucial to those in power now. Where they couldn't monitor every detail in the past, it's more possible today. From our luxury technology monitoring our home, making calls for us or unlocking a door, they record us and go on file in some way. Our purchases are recorded, what we watch, traveling also being important. Things change in some ways, but largely stay the same or human nature is hard to combat, if it will even be acknowledged.
