@b-chroniumproductions3177 He did if you listen to the story by the end. He was unspoken and he partook.

@CanadianBalll They were healthy? They were dying as well if you didn't pay attention. Not everyone is like you, weak-willed and self-centered. Some would choose to starve to death. Many have without resorting to cannibalism. The fact you have to assume someone is no better than you shows how insecure you actually are about your lack of willpower.

@kats9755 Why did you leave out that desire to live coming at the expense of another? So yes, very much it is weak-willed, cowardice and selfish. How often do we actually hear about it? How often does it happen in comparison to those that do not? That find other means or we find them all dead without resorting to such? You're making an assumption toward your bias unless you have evidence to the contrary. The rules always change in most people's minds even for the most basic of things. Relationships, work, themselves. We see this dubiousness the most in 1st world countries because people are used to comfort, hate discomfort and generally faith-based virtues are not held. Having a family is no excuse. A thief stealing for his family risks his life or hand, which will leave his family in a worst state for temporary relief. Those people must return to their family with the trauma of what they did, them knowing what they did. Do you really think they went about life as normal? We seldom read such when it comes up. Cannabilism for any reason has no justification. It's no different than trying to justify murder and theft for one's survival. The weak and cruel resort to these methods while the strong find other means, and there are always other means. The reason the custom was a last resort of extremes is because it was understood it was not something naturally desire or wanted. You think that hesitance goes away while doing such or live with after? Survival is not a means to justify an end, but still the end will justify the means. To die with a clean conscious is far better than heaping regrets so you can make it to an old age.

@braidena1633 You didn't want to read it (you read enough of it) because he was right. You'd justify murdering someone.

Saved them one way, damned them in another.

@diaperfang5293 Human beings aren't animals. We are cognizant of self and don't get away with that excuse. The man also agreed, so the matter isn't of murder. It's morality.

@Random595 Killing is done in self defense. Murder is premeditated. Malice is usually attributed, but selfish intent can be argued as well. Richard didn't agreed, he struggled not relented, so it was murder.

@CanadianBalll You can resort to personal insults of strangers, it shows your lack of cognizant ability and having anything of value to say. You're trying to justify murder. Doesn't matter. Custom was broken, the one being sacrificed needs to give their consent. There was no custom followed, he tried to struggle and they held him down because they knew he didn't agree and unaware. Funny how you try and resort to questioning intelligence, you lack using the basic facts of the matter in favor of an emotional response. If you're not a woman, you most definitely are a weak man.

@KH-rt3ef Except for the fact they ate him in the boat. Did you watch the video?
