  1. Dragons or large lizards, flying ones existed. For the Chinese Zodiac to have all animals we know and one mythical one doesn't make sense. There are accounts by Alexander the Great, the founder of museums who's name I can't remember, Herodotus and Marco Polo all wrote about encounters with varieties that matched up for some during their time. However, this doesn't match evolutionary science saying large lizards (dinosaurs) died out millions of years before.
