The issue is people don't understand morality and how we are naturally inclined to slide down the scale on it. It has to be constantly maintained, which is why society seemed more balanced in the past though it was still sliding; there were still values and religion promoted. The rough of it is there is a line that can't be crossed or the slope will always come back. There is no halfway point we stop, because it will be pushed as the cycle goes. Homosexuality isn't actually the starting point, but people in generally being sexually pernicious that opened the door. There is a reason most countries in the world do not accept certain lifestyles because they understand, as America once did, what it will lead to. So if things ever did go back to center, it is those that think certain actions that don't hurt others is okay, are going to be the problem again. Society collectively takes on/assimilates to the bad more than it does the good. People will never learn.
