You're serious? A pride flag? Good grief, they really don't care.

To be fair, none of Resident Evil cares about the lore. Capcom is never known for their storytelling. The best they've done was the RPG series, Breath of Fire, and that hasn't been around since they killed it with labelling a random mobile game with the title.

@ThatGuy-ky2yf It did, but fans didn't like Dragon Quarter. I can understand because I didn't like it at first until I played it again and became another good entry. However, it was Capcom that always has had weak knees competing, especially with JRPGs at the time and didn't want to invest. They always seem to go for where money is easy or they have a hold, like RE or DMC. Soon as there is competition, they will drop an IP if it starts to lose sales.

@headshotmaster138 Not sure how many care about that. People like Bruce, not a protégé. We get enough from Damien.

@headshotmaster138 People are excited for lots of things, especially bad ideas. People like the sound of something on paper, but never think about how it's executed. Batman Beyond is a neat concept, but just another person wearing Batman's mantle and comes with the crap of Bruce sleeping with Bat-Girl. No thanks.

@chromtastic2092 I don't think it would have saved them. Batman Beyond is a rehashing when it comes down to it and a very easy thing to twist with modern writing. Bruce sleeps with Barbara in it, that can be used against the character and various other elements considering it hasn't been touched in awhile and can be rebooted to be PC. People want Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash, ect. not variants or sidekicks. Unfortunately, even with the Arkham series, they wanted to write Bruce out because of this notion he needs to be done being Batman or put down the mantle. It's the subtle method of removing iconic characters to be replaced and what did we get? Arkham Knights.

@GamingMafia_id I wonder though. The 'Grass is greener' logic only holds up in imagination often times. By the time we get those possible games, they will fall under the same issues because it's the industry itself that's the problem. We'd not only need a fantasy game scenario, but also go back in time to when games were made with more creativity in mind than the machine logic and/or preaching. It just illustrates how sad things are.
