This isn't a major issue, but it is logically and historically an issue: I see female pirate crew. Pirates were famous for not getting any for months if not longer, docking at port and getting drunk and laid much as they could before setting out. They also didn't like them on their ships, in general for sailormen. I know there were the exception of pirate captains, but pirates were very superstitious about women being on ships.
