  2.  @Unpopular_Duality.  There are still lots of defenders for Bethesda and definitely Skyrim. It was the prototype of releasing a game that lowered in quality over the years (for the series narrative), simplified mechanics in Todd Howard fashion and bugged to all hell. Reckoning: Kingdoms of Amalur released polished and was review bombed and reviews grilled it on things Skyrim could have received strikes for even more or the same. Gamers and games media both created the environment we have known, though mostly gamers react after the fact, mainly because the market it designed to manipulate the consumer. No idea why CDPR thought this was a good idea, but like I said; they likely got caught up in their success without realizing they didn't have that much under their belt and not fixing past issues with releases.
