  1. Musk stated that the dollar could lose its value completely due to the rising national debt and inflation. Why does Musk think the U.S. is going bankrupt? He pointed to the $36.17 trillion national debt and said that interest payments alone account for 23% of government income. Firstly the US is the global currency, a very privileged position to be in. An unlimited sovereign, unlimited as in no ceiling on curency creation. Secondly, there is no need to issue interest bearing bonds into the private sector that is a political choice in the US. Why would the Federal Reserve System need to borrow money from the private sector when it is the sole legal issuer and creator of the $. Thirdly, why isn't Musk more concerned about private sector banks having no limit on new money creation and charging interest on that new money for profit extraction. New money, created by government or private banks is still new money. Both are accounted for on the states books and classified as a liability until exchanged as an asset, or the 'debt' is repaid without default /bankruptcy. Why isn't he more concerned about inequality within the economy that promotes economic downturn. The US cannot achieve bankruptcy or default, so why is Musk using these fear tactics if he's a good guy, on the side of the workforce. All good questions.

  3. China has grown and is over taking the west due to the west using restrictive monetary policies. Sadly we are seeing a self inflicted decline. This will continue until we remove the Capitalist Neoliberal Doctrine. The ultra rich are against it's removel because it enables capital accumulation. They would rather let economies reach deprivation than change the direction of this decline. How far must we fall !.
