I think it’s a bit of a stretch to say they all have severe mental health issues.Rather,the timing was ripe for many uneducated people to seek a political alternative and succumb to the cult of Trump.Add in the Qanon propaganda and the Evangelical preachers espousing Trump as the ‘Saviour’ returned!The rise of far right ,fascist groups and the misinformation re Covid used as a political football all add to the horrid mix.Now,certainly they are under a dangerous spell and delusional.It’s an extremely worrying time for democracy in the US and the world is watching and finding it incredible that this excuse for a man and his enablers is walking around free!
