@rutopia then we go back to gold backing currency. Or land. Anything but a government printing whatever it likes. We end lobbying. We end the electoral college. And we give the general public law making and law veto power via petitioning for a vote whenever we have to numbers to do so. We could fire politicians with enough votes.

@redwood-in-stereo so it's the cell phones fault? Not the banks that used the housing market collapse to get rich. And still are with government approval and bailouts. No issue with corporate lobbyist writing the laws in this country? All on the watch of a grass roots, anti lobbying president. Record homelessness. Record drug abuse and overdoses. 13 countries in recession and counting. The phone is just their tool of propaganda. And that was my point to turn it off. But if you think all our problems turn off with the cell phone, you didn't actually do any looking around.
