@EdMcCornhole 150,000 volts? Where on earth did you get that figure from? Get real. Accounts of electric chair executions have stated that the voltage used is around 1,500 to 2,000 volts. Besides, it is not the voltage that kills but the electric current, measured in amps (amperes). Typically the current is turned on for around 30 seconds then switched off. Usually a second surge is then applied for around 15 seconds.

@EdMcCornhole Sorry, but you couldn't have heard "150,000 volts" mentioned. That is a nonsense. As I told you, the average voltage used in electric chair executions is around 2,000 volts. And if the DJ said turn down electrical use because they were going to fry Ted Bundy it would have been a joke. The power used by the electric chair is produced using a generator within the prison itself. It is not sourced from the public electricity supply.
