Christopher Hitchens HAS studied the history of the Catholic Church (more thoroughly than you, I suggest ) and he has convincingly proved to the satisfaction of a large majority of the audience that the Catholic Church does NOT have a satisfactory answer.

Who? Christopher Hitchens? How? Seems to me that he is making some pretty devastating criticisms of the Catholic Church. Are you saying he is lying? Give us examples.

Britain comprises Scotland, England and Wales. I am Scottish. So you accuse me of being "a monster". And as for Britain being responsible for more corruption, degradation and destruction than anyone else (apart from the Catholic Church, in which I have no interest). Give specific examples. Are you seriously saying that Britain meted out more death and destruction than Stalin's Soviet Union or the Nazis under Hitler or China under Mao Zedong's dictatorship? And wouldn't you agree that the dictatorship of North Korea is a "hypocritical and evil" organisation? And here's another conundrum for you. Can you explain why, after Brirain had peaceably given up her colonies, those former colonies would choose voluntarily to join a commonwealth in which Britain had no governing role and received not a penny in tax? Is that the normal reaction of countries which have thrown off their evil colonial masters?

Or whether you would agree that the dictatorship of North Korea is a hypocritical and evil organisation. Again, no answer. I also asked you why if Britain's empire was so evil its former colonies voluntarily join the commonwealth. Once again, answer came there none. I asked you why other European countries also had colonies, if Britain was uniquely bad. You said nothing. Finally, I told you I was assaulted in a Dublin pub for no other reason than that I was Scottish ("you're just the same as those other murdering Jocks"). And you had nothing to say. As I said, you clearly approved of what happened. So don't say I didn't make any points.

@seanmccann8368 In my follow up response I re-iterated the points I made, but still you don't reply. Why not? If you are unable to because you have no answers to my points then have the decency to admit it.

@seanmccann8368 This is simply sidestepping the points that I DID raise, which are directly concerned with your original comment. And yet instead of facing up to them you simply ignore them. How totally childish. You are simply sticking your fingers your ears and going "la, la, la." Your inability to respond clearly means you cannot answer my comments. And so you resort to personal insult. How sad.
