You need to run this on a Dyno, with and without the 48v mild hybrid disabled to see what it really does.

I didn't know Fiat made any trucks in europe. Joking, LOL. Only a Fanboy Hater, would call it a FIAT.

It's Stupid to blanket any Brand. Ram Shits on the competition. I know ALOT more Company truck owners (even my town) going to dodge from Broke ass 6. Blow Fords and Chevies that Rust away to RAM. Don't beleive, FACTS are in the #s...of recalls/repairs. See ALL the Chevy and Ford recalls/Quality the last few years. I'd Put a Dodge against any of them for # of recalls/repairs Per yr/miles. My step father's 1998 K1500 had 3 times as many repairs/ 10x the rust as my 1993 Dakota. My Uncle sold his 1989 D150 with the Original Engine and Original (Not rebuilt trans) @ 350k(still running). Even My Friends F350 tow truck with the 6.7L was in the Shop 3 times in 20k miles....POS.
2
Whatever Chrysler Team you are referring to...didn't have the Right people on it. It's the same with how the C7 Z06 was a POS and the Camaro Team hit it out of the Park.

Complete BS*!!!, That they Don't offer the 6.4L Hemi in the 1500 series ;-( Dodge has always been the Power Division of Ram.

Not as bad as the others... AIR BAGS, If equipped... do only last about 10 yrs. Had to replace alot on old Lincolns when I was a Ford Tech. Endless Money pit... you would want a BMW, the Last Brand I worked for. My Dodge is 26 yrs old and runs fine... even still had cylinder cross hatching when I did a cam swap at @215k miles. My Stepfathers 1998 K1500, 50k less miles has a frame that looks 50yrs older....but isn't as bad as the 2003 F150 owner (rust wise) across the street. That and the fact Ford wants the Physically tallest/largest truck (Penis Compensation) is the reason they went to aluminum.
1
That is the worst option to get on ANY Vehicle. Can't even count the number of BMWs that I worked on at the dealership that were caused by them leaking.
1
What is a Rician? I don't think it's sold in North America.
1
It's sad.. how FK'ed Up the trade agreements are. Euro sports car for example... are the same price in the USA, BUT USA models are 25% MORE than in the USA.
1
But the Charger out sells them in the USA. FYI, German interior...Just Looks Good...it's NOT made Well ... I'm a Retired BMW Master Tech. They have more plastic....it's just covered with the thinnest covering.
1
Have you seen ANY of the Other 1/2 ton trucks? If so You are Delusional. The Ram is the Best looking pickup out there.
1
It's a USA thing for some reason?? No one else buy them. Guess they don't work... other excuse is that the roads are too narrow but a lambo/ferrari/bugatti is wider.
1
It's sad that Toyota did so little, in options and updates for the Tundra... considering they are 1 of the largest brands. No Engine options, Horrible crash safety Poor payload capacity Poor towing, since they don't offer a 3/4 or 1 ton. My 1993 Dakota has a MUCH high payload than the BIG tundra. Atleast it's not the JOKE T100 Pickup.
1
?? 395hp + hybrid is nowhere underpowered. Without the hybird it's the same HP as a 5.0L f-150, more than the Titan, Tundra and ALOT more than the 5.3L Silverado.
1
Sure with Older (90's-10's) Rams and their transmissions...but not anymore. As a whole they last longer than fords or Chevy. I saw your profile pic and my stepfather has a 1998 k1500 and my 1993 dakota has more miles, alot less rust and had Zero engine problems vs. his. Also his frame looks 100 yrs old with the rust in the Northeast vs. my Dakota in the same weather. Atleast Chevy didn't have have as bad HP or rust as the same year FORDs. (I was a factory tech during the POS 4.6/5.4 F-150 days...talk about a dog/POS.
1
He obviously didn't know anything ... Air bag is better, in ride/weight carrying capability...but doesn't last as long. Airbags usually need replacing after 10 yrs or so.

Ted Turner could drive from texas to canada on his own property.
1
You check out how many Ford and Chevy trucks have been recalled/issues... You be surprised at how many more.
1
Fiat, FCA is the reason for ALL the problems with MOPAR. They still haven't give a Challenger/Charger platform (rumor had it to be the Guilia, but it fell through). Everyone calls them Fiat... But it it STILL the Mercedes design and parts. Fiat, ONLY helped updating interiors... seats in the redeye, hellcat are done by the suppliers that did Ferrari interior.
1
Ford also about $10k more.
1
You do have the HIGHER, LIMITED Model.
1
Not So, With the New ZF trans. that issue is gone. That was the ONLY/ Big issue for Mopar pickups. This is more reliable than ANY German Luxury Brand in repairs/recalls... BY FAR!
1
Sadly... (and A reason I'm pissed with Ram) is that they don't offer the 6.4L in the 1500;-(
1
@chrisholland2016 I know they never have, but they had the V10 in the SRT-10 Ram... the 6.4L in the 1500 would be kind of like the Old SRT-10 Ram. People don't "need" alot of things...but people still want the power. It's the same with every sportscar, can't legally use it to it's limits or all 797hp in the Redeye on the street.
1
But in the truck world it "IS".
1
LongHorn is the just below the Limited and just above the Laramie. Ram offers 6 trim levels.
1
There are 3 tie options depending on 2wd or 4 wd.
