  1. ??? It's About Acceleration as Much as High Speed. Not sure where you are but if you aren't going 75<90 mph on the NJ Highways you will get Ran off the Roads. Also the power helps with towing. I had a 911 Turbo going 80 mph in the left lane and after I ran up his ass 3 times he finally moved over to let me by... at that time I was driving an OLD 1993 5.2L Magnum Dakota, Pushing a 911 turbo out of the way.

GM/ FORD you had to have a competition License to buy their Race cars. 63 Max Wedges were some of the Craziest... 13.5/1 Compression, Requiring Race fuel 104+? Owner's Manual Said... Full Throttle application must be limited to <13 secs., but on 7" wide tires they were run mid 11/12s...high 10s with 7" slicks. This is when the TOP Ferrari was a 14sec car. Aluminum Body options, push button automatics, probably the 1st production car with cast race headers. Worth their weight in GOLD today. Even the Race Hemi was available to the Public to buy, 12.5:1, high 10s/low 11s in 1964.

  4. FYI, Jacob/Yuri, The Camaro had the (302) Before the Mustang, Just like how the Mustang wasn't the 1st Pony Car. 305's weren't used until (1976) when the Government/Emissions "Crushed" the Power output.

  5. Almost Right...they did offer the 455ci engine from 1968<1976, 1977the 455 was dropped and replaced as top engine by the 403ci v8. Oldmobile also offered the 3.8L (231CI) V6 from 1977 and on.

  7. Actually NO, This Durango Platform was Designed when Mercedes/Diamler Benz Owned Dodge...same goes for the Charger/Challenger. No Performance Dodge is a Fiat...still All Mercedes.

  8. How Bad is the Fuel price in Canada/near Straightpipes? Is it sold by the liter like in Europe? FYI, Car & Driver got 18mpg (13L/100km) in their All around testing.. so if you can drive it like a normal person (LOL) it's not that bad. I'd be getting what your dash said 27L /100 km.

The First top Fuel Hero, SET and Beat it's Own records over and over. About 5 times the HP of a F1 Ferrari of the day...or 10x the Power of the top Production Ferrari, back then.

  12. The Closest competitor for this SUV is an X5 5.0i, which is 14k<20+K more expensive. X5 5.0i Loaded is in the Trackhawk Jeep price range. They both weight about the same (5,263 x5, 5, 5,369 srt) X5 - 456-hp/479-lb-ft, SRT - 475/470. X5 of course LOOKS more Luxurious, and has more Tech options.... But is THAT worth the $14k <22k difference in Price??? X5 5.0i is quicker, but the Durango is faster due to BMW's Governor, and it can tow alot more. Durango SRT also has a MUCH higher top speed. 25mph Over what the X5 5.0i can do. Being a Retired BMW Master Tech. ALL X5 Models...have been the Most Problematic models I've seen. Friends that have had jeeps, that I've serviced/repaired have had<1/2 the amount of repairs need.

  16. BUT, it showed that for the Last 100.8km he was Avg. 27L/100km or 8.7 MPG. For comparison the AMG E63S Wagon was getting 23.6L/100km or 9.97 MPG.
