@ubermensch4875 Because...DUMB-ASS, it hasn't Really Changed in the last 11 YEARS. It's only got slower on a road course/ 0-60 time, and plateaued the 1/4 mile even with more HP, because of more weight and consistently gone Up in price during that time.

Those years are LONG Gone with the 70's with Porsche and their Old race models with Aluminum Tubed chassis, Breg. Spider. You are Dreaming if ANY body would build a 2,900 lbs sports-coupe street car that isn't smaller than a Fiat 500/ Miata. Even the Ultra-Light NEW GT3RS is 3,150 lbs. And that's not AWD. FYI, NO ONE.... would EVER waste the Money to put a STEEL Body on a Tube Chassis for a steel car... That is A waste.. Performance... NO. Needed other upgrades...Fixing for the last 10 yrs. They turned the GTR from a performance car (2013/2014 models) into a "GT cruiser" with a $20K<$40K raise in price over the older model. Higher HP with slower times, in No way means a Performance upgrade.

Biggest POS??? I'm No Nissan fan..But not to main issues with this or the pickup....Both Better than anything Honda has to offer. Also, Mitsubishi has made good products for performance... atleast AWD/ first 2 generation turbo Eclispses...EASILY Sh!TTING on All SI/ TYPE R compact models from honda or what toyota ( nissan Titan is better pickup than a tundra, late 2000's- 4runners weren't good either).

They are Notorious For Cheating when running track times. In the USA... ALL Nissan GTRs run 11.0-11.2 on street surface and are SLOW on the track. Their Factory lap times are as Fake as their racing wins... LOL THEY Only competed in JDM racing series.... Not in ANY Real Series with German, French or American competition. Your Youtube name says Hawaiian, so you shouldn't care about that FAKE Non-USA spec. numbers.

No, It's been a 1 Trick pony, only good at the 0-60/100 mph. Any even FATTER Charger Hellcat has a Higher trap speed and SH*TS ON THE NISMO GTR's TOP SPEED for half the price. It was Never a Supercar.

@Bewt Stain I agree it's way Too heavy...mainly because Nissan was cheap and made in mostly of steel... Unlike Most of the GTR competitors which use aluminum or carbon fiber. Taking 1,000+ lbs out of it would be impossible, a Carbon fiber McLaren 720s is still 3,139 lbs minimum and that's about 775 lbs less than the GTR. If Nissan used aluminum or Carbon fiber for most of the steel... it would lose about 500+/- lbs and would be better in every aspect.. run 1/2 sec quicker in the 1/4 mile, it wouldn't have the brake fade issue and would probably be a few seconds quicker on a track....But Nissan would charge $225k for it, LOL.

@Bewt Stain LMFAO, The Wagon Impreza Wagon is More than 3,000 lbs if you put ANY fuel in it (even if you don't if it's an auto). Not to mention its ONLY a 4 cyl. and alot skinnier than a GTR. FYI, It doesn't hold ANY-where near a TON of cargo. 938< 1,132 lbs... AS Per Google. My 26 yr old Dakota holds more than ANY JDM Pickup Sold today.

@hawaiianprestigecars8493 Older Models have a Much more aggressive launch program... which cause transmission damage...that's why they slowed down even with a power increase back in the day. Now they run the same numbers 0-60 /slower track times with more power and than older models at a steeper cost.

"One of the best cars ever made".......Only if you are a bad driver and need all the driver aids. Nissan also has made it slower since the 2013/2014 models, but raised the price by a few Grand. R35 was Never impressive on a track...which is what JDM fanboys always liked to brag about. It was a good daily driver high power sportscar due to the AWD and it was quick off the line. Never really looked good..but I accepted it's looks when I found out of it's super-low drag Co-efficiency. But it always sound like shit stock...even the Nismo.

@basithph8958 Sadly here in the USA, The Track performance has ALWAYS been lacking, Especially the EXPENSIVE NISMO. The thing is, being Top-end a turbo V6 AWD Sportcar (Sport-coupe to be accurate) model...you have to compare it to the 911 turbo models and the Porsche models offer better tires, SOUND ALOT BETTER and offer Carbon-cermaic Brakes all which are the Biggest Problem with the GTR other than it's weight/Price. If it was 911 Turbo weight and had tires/brakes as options.... Nissan would be selling 50% more in the USA. But Like EVER COMPANY, they have stupid, "Yes-man" people running them.... Not the Thinkers.

They were Correct, Only quick in a straight-line (from a standing start) with a <200 mph top speed and the worst sounding engine/exhaust... Doesn't sound like a supercar to me.

@AnzaSengani Nurburgring, LOL... Nissan Got bust before for using None Stock parts and tunes on the cars they run there. Just look at their Lap times everywhere outside there or Japan. USA Models are SLOW. Very Few that don't hit 200 post Amazing times on tracks because of the downforce. The R35 has one of the LOWEST Drag CF Ever for a sportscar...so there is No excuse since it has No real Downforce /drag to slow it down. It's the Biggest Dog in a highway race/From a roll. As For Price... It wasn't bad (pretty cheap) Back in the Day...but Not since 2014 or So. The Nismo Is the Biggest Joke of All, $50k+ More and Barely goes any faster on a track and only runs the same time as 2013/2014 models in the 1/4 mile. I can send you Links to Facts if you would Like. I enjoy teach KIDS the Truth about cars;-) I'd Track an 2014 track edition or a R32<R34...so I'm not a GTR Hater.

@AnzaSengani Like I said, It's ONLY the ones that are Factory ran that are fast.(Nurburgring times)... MOST of the cars that Post fast times there AREN'T fast at any other track... exceptions are Porsche GT models, McLaren 720s and the Huracan Performante. Old C6 Z06/Z07 with it's 505hp LS7 V8 Shits on ALL GTR's at Laguna Seca, willow springs or the euro track Hockenhiem Short. Anyway I'm the USA and they are nothing to brag about other than standing start times up to about 125 mph. When you have to go back 5<6 years to find the fastest Non-Nismo GTR... then the newer ones aren't special.

For JDM Fans, R35 was NEVER a King on a track... and has been middle of the pack in the 1/4 mile for more than 7 yrs. You pay $20k more for the "godzilla" reference...than what the car is worth.

@blackthanos85 LOL, You got that backwards when you compare the GTR to the 911 Turbo models. Nissan copied Prosche with ALL the Turbo GTRs, copying the AWD turbo 911 models. Funny thing is Both (GTR and 911 Turbos) are Over priced made of Mostly cheap steel, AWD turbo 6 cylinders. But the Porsche is atleast faster in ALL aspects, better interior, Better looking and better sounding.

You do realize, Most "Top end" models from Multiple brands have done the same for YEARS... Nothing New/Special. What makes this NOT Special, AKA Shit... is the price for Everything else... excluding the AWD system..but that is even getting OLD. It's the same with Euro-brands making excuses for the cost $20k More /= OR lower performance.... just because it has a "Nicer interior", LOL.
