He loves those rims??? The way the tire doesn't even come close to the rim lip looks like ASS... Looks like the rims too wide for the tire/bead with. I've Seen Alot of JDM cars with rims like this, and other than color, nothing makes it look worse.

Not really , 2.9s is the fastest 0-60mph time "actually" done in testing by an independent company, also it was done by a few different models/years of the R35. No Magazine ever got it to go quicker than 11.0 in the 1/4 mile, either. Nissan GTR Nurburgring times are a JOKE, No - ONE , Cheats more there than NISSAN. They even got caught when they said the Nismo Ran a 7:08.69s , The guys from car Magazines spotted ALOT of parts on the car that weren't Stock. Later Nissan had to back step and say it had a New N-Attack package in development. The Proof is that it doesn't perform well on most tracks around the world. As for the Carbon fiber driveshafts (I'd have to check). Transmission is a Borgwarner unit (use to be owned by GM). Technically alot of high end sports cars engines are hand-built. The really sad thing is that it's Mostly made of (Chassis), Cheap steel. All High end sportscars in it's category are made (Body/chassis) of aluminum alloys and Carbon fiber. When it first came out, I will say that Porsche 911 turbos were the other Mostly stamped steel sportscar.

R33 400R, Then the R34 R- Tune, Z-tune... Then ANY of the Older Skyline GT-Rs, lastly the R35.

@koolkeith8908 I'm just stating FACTS . People /fanboys have put the R35 on a pedistal because of the GTRs of the Past. It's the Same with 911s. It was a great performer ( for The Time /Price),when it was released in the USA. Nissan did Improve it Up to 2014MY. Since then It's gone Up in Price and down In performance ... Mainly on the track ... It's kind of like with the Corvette ( C6 Zr1 Vs.C7Z06 W/ Z07Pkg.) with More Hp , Alot More Downforce and an extra gear ... was Barely Faster on Track / Much Slower Topspeed. Also , Nissan Keeps Charging More , while Not fixing the issues It has had for Years ( Horrible Brake Fade on the Track, It's Obesity and Lack of Optional Street Legal Track Tire). Dunlop , The GTRs Brand already makes the Tire. I Could justify the Big jump in Price Over the Years if it Had the fixes Implemented. I would even Look Past the Poor soundingexhaust Note Or The Not That Good Looking Body ... Atleast That Gave it a Low Drag Cd.

@koolkeith8908 Yeah , the NAME / older models are Ledgendary ... Not the R35 based on it's Lack of track performance. I would take a R32 , R33 Or R34 ... Id only take an R35 so I Could get 2 Nicer used Sportscars.

@koolkeith8908 Well when you compare it's time to it's competition it Doesn't . It's an off the line / Standing Start Monster , Great in wet weather with a better Ride than Most. The R35 is No Competition on a Track or A highway Race.

@koolkeith8908 It must not be stock then? ... What year and I'm talking about the R35 sold in the USA. Euro/Japanese spec cars are very different. Motor trend is the Only reliable track tester in the USA, Randy Always Drives All the cars (so you know it's not a Different driver that is putting up a slow time. They Also use timing equipment (unlike Old Top Gear using a stop watch, LOL. Not to mention they get the cars from the dealer or manufacturer directly (no Youtube amateur video/times with a modded car claiming it was stock). Randy probably track tested more GTR's on Multiple tracks than any NO-Nissan Factory test driver so It's the Most reliable source. "Right up there with the fastest"??? What Track? What time did you run? What cars? I'm not talking about it vs. Camaro SS or Mustang GT's or Evos. The GTR is up there in price with Vipers, Z06s, 911 turbo, and other Flagship sportscars (even though it's technically a Sports coupe). Worst is the Over-priced Nismo, $175k LMFAO. Don't forget I did say the early Model year ones were good, Just the most recent ones have gotten fatter, slower and more expensive. I can send you links if you like??

@koolkeith8908 Best time at Willow Springs (not streets of willow) I could find was for the Nismo GTR @1:25.70, 18th fastest of the quickest times there. Faster are , Porsche - GT Models 3 / 3RS/ 2RS, 918 and turbo S Mclarens - 720s , 675LT , 600LT Viper ACR Corvette C7 Zr-1 , Z06 Huracan LP610-4 / Performante , Aventador Lp-750-4 /SVJ AMG Benz GT-R You have to go all the way down to 43 fastest, Behind Camaro SS 1LE, Shebly GT350R and CTS-V caddies to find the next fastest GTR. Also Ferrari street cars are usually Under performers on the track....always have been for the most part.(all Show and No go, around corners)

@koolkeith8908 At Willow springs, ALL but 2 were driven by Randy Pobst for a Motor Trend test. So the same Expert Driver, driving on a Track he knows VERY Well....Can't get more accurate than that.

No, Just winning races ?campionships against other JDM cars... which really doesn't mean anything. If you aren't competing against the best... than you aren't the best.
