FYI, The SRT10 Ram still holds the Top speed record for a production pickup.

@joyceblackmon1745 Actually it takes a Brand with the BALLS to build it. Mopar has ALWAYS had the BIGGEST BALLS....Chevy always had the Smallest of the US brands. Old early 60's Mopars were BUTT-ugly but would shit on a ford or chevy... Which is why I'm a fan...even though I've owned Camaros and worked for FORD.

Justin Shelby supersnake is a "TUNER" car....NOT Factory. Also Motor trend tested one and it was slower than a stock one due to Shelby not upgrading the tires.

Don't forget about Ford and their WEAK Frames. I guess they didn't think of that and they have a Law suit against then for broken Raptor frames.

Dodge was Doing Fast trucks WAY!!! before Ford. FYI, If it wasn't for Dodge there wouldn't be a Ford company....Dodge Brothers built the model T for Ford. The one brother was even VP of Ford at the time. I know Ford as I worked for them in the early 2000's as a Factory Certified Tech.

LOL, Dodge started the (Turbo compact FWD) scene back in the early 80's...Not 1998. Way Before Honda even had Vtec.

FYI, Chrysler had their own version of the Mitsubishi Eclipse, the "Eagle Talon" as they went in together 50/50 on the design/ manufacturing. Even the 1st gen Neon R/T used the 420A engine and easily out ran Civic Si in ANY RACE and gave a B18 Type-R a run for it's money on any road course. I have a car magazine talking about the bob bondurant racing school back in the 90's and everyone wanted to driver the R/T neons and not the Viper. The R/T Neons with tires were actually faster thru the twist/turns than the gts Vipers. The GLH-S Omni would Shit on a Toyota SUPRA TURBO in a drag race.back in 1987...so I don't KNOW what he's talking about. really Need to get better fact finders as it ruins your street creds, LOL ;-P

4:30 "ram....Isn't Particularly aero dynamic"....... FYI, When the "Freight-liner looking" Rams came out...they WERE the MOST aerodynamic trucks/SUV's. It has a Lower Drag Cf than the Lamborghini Countach.

@Dubz0408 Factory stock and Lemans cars are COMPLETELY different. They make rules to "Level the playing field". Completely Irrelevant. Chevy smallblock is popular because it's the Cheapest engine swap and the Most supported by the aftermarket.... Doesn't mean it's the best. even with Over 100 more HP, the Zr-1 can't come close to the ACR Viper's Laguna Seca time.

SRT8 Jeep was the reason Porsche had to make a Cayenne Turbo ( S )...the SRT8 Jeep out ran the old regular Turbo.

Sadly everyone wants an auto. 20+yrs yrs ago you'd be called a P*ssy if you had a sportscar with an automatic. F1 and sportscar racing ruined it with their sequential gear boxes that took alot of the driving skill out of racing. Lewis Hamilton probably sucks at driving a manual, LOL. If Dodge had a optional auto and an optional "lower level trim" for the Viper it would still be around...as 75+% of Corvettes sold are automatics. The problem is, up until this year...there wasn't a front engine/rwd sequential transmission that would handle the viper's torque. Tremec only came out with it last year. I even emailed X-Traqc the makes of the GTS-R/GT3's race transmission and they said it starts @ $40k...but they say that trans isn't street-able.

Better than a Ford/Chevy... Also my Mother's Cirrus had less repairs than my sister's Honda accord/toyota 4 runner or any Ford/chevy I've worked on. I do admit truck automatics have issues and the primer/paint peals but other than that they are solid....baring models like the 200s. BMWs, Mercedes are 10x more UNreliable.

@Dubz0408 Lol, race car are COMPLETELY different than street models... So is their performance. Fyi, Drag Pak Challenge Won the 2018 NHRA Championship. LS engines Are good as they Have good aftermarket parts that cost less than the competitor's.

@haganshows I'm talking top speed NOT 1/4 mile time. Yes the tundra SC is QUICKER...but NOWHERE near a top speed of the SRT-10 RAM. Saleen Just came out with a "nightmare"...but they have never posted or had the top speed verified. ALOT of people get 1/4 times and TOP SPEED mixed up...quick and Fast are TO VERY different things. For example the Lighting was 13mph Slower in top speed than the Ram. All pickups have limiters now, Ram was the last to put one on... Fords and Chevy's can on go 95 mph.

@davelastname8074 The Ram TRX is limited to Only 108mph. My '93 Dakota has a higher top speed and payload.
