SHO...as most don't realize the engine was built by Yamaha...and actually could be modded to make 500 hp.

Also Forgot to mention the BIGGEST thing with the C5 was the Departure from the the OG. Small block design.

@nikifalcon Yeah Yamaha had their Music/piano division "tune" the LFA's Exhaust which is why it sounds so good;-)

Dakota....the Shelby was ONLY sold in 1989. But the rest you are correct. MY 93 easily out ran a SS AWD Silverado.

Car info. channel....."Dakota Stagner it’s not a performance car"..... It easily out ran the Acura Integra..and they made a video about that? Also they made one on the Shitty Land cruiser, LOL. It was a game changer that every other brand followed in design with their compacts.

They released that video in dec 2017.

Why Not giving more details about the Amazing engines that had? Only talked about the Blue flame and 2 seconds on the Not that special 265ci v8. Nothing about them having Fuel injection with the 283 in 1957 Nothing about the 350 which had been the corvettes bread and butter engine or the 1970 LT1 Nothing on Big BLOCKS??? WTF??? Is this a European channel?? JK, LOL. But seriously NO 396, L72/L88/ ZL-1 or LS6 mention? FYI...the best selling C3s were the SLOWEST corvettes since the C1....POS.

2 door, rear mounted flat 6, ...that about covers it all, even the body shape didn't really change that much.;-)

You Forgot to mention that the C2<C4 corvettes didn't have an Upper rear control arm...they actually used the half shafts for that...Crazy.

Started many trends... 1st mid-size pickup...Ranger, tacoma, colorado followed suit. 1st Non-full size that offered a v8. (My 1993 EASILY spanked foxboy Mustang GTs on the drag strip) 1st convertible pickup...1989 Shelby dakota 1st small truck with an 8ft bed. (don't think any others offer that yet) Only "small truck" to ever have a Higher factory Payload rating than the 1/2 ton.
