  1. @ 33:48, Those tubes aren't "Oil passages". Top fuel heads have additional Mechanical fuel injectors in the heads. You can tell this by the fact that the are threaded in to the Intake runner....Not going to spray oil into the runners of a 4 cycle. engine.

  2. They uses the excessive fuel to cool the cylinders. Also a Big Chunk of aluminum like that can soak up alot of heat.

  6. Crazy How big the intake ports are, AJPE's Top Fuel cylinder head has Ports the same size as the 1.4L turbo Chevy Cruze's Cylinder volume. 340cc. And the Intake Valve is "Almost " as big as a 600 Sport bike's Cylinder.

  7. Too Hard...They use aluminum because it acts like a shock absorber (compressing//softening the initial ignitions shock). Not to mention aluminum is alot cheaper especially if you are replacing them that often.

  8. Calculations of Horsepower required to run so fast in a car weighing X amount. A Motor trend(I think) said some teams had put torque sensors to read twisting on the output shaft.

  12. Bugatti is just Germans Doing things the hard way...Nothing special. Hennessey was making more power with gen 2 vipers with less displacement and less boost than the Bugatti runs...I.E. It's W16 is NOT efficient. Carbon Fiber chassis and weighs more than a Hellcat, GTFOH.

  14. They do....But Jets are SLOW. Fastest Is ROCKET POWERED DRAGSTERS... But they haven't ran since the late 70's. I think Englishtown Raceway had a record of 382 mph....They are slow to start but BIG top end. I've Never heard anything LOUDER than a Top-fuel car... I (adult) Screamed as LOUD as I could and couldn't even feel my lungs moving/voice box. And I've had a Guy shoot shoot guns and Rifles Before I covered my ears.(Deaf- step father, LOL;-P)

  15. True, Billet blocks like this are 6061T-651 material. There were alot of incorrect information in this video.

  16. They "Check" everything. Half the video was about the fact that they DON'T replace everything if it's not worn out/damaged.
