  1. The earth mover is obviously lighter ( easier to transport / deployed from lighter transport vehicles). Also I think with it's Lighter Armor it would be used to clear mines for ground Infantry. The Shreader , Being heavily Armored / Tank like it probably is Deployed closer to the Frontline.
