For the guys that just want to know #'s but don't want to fast forward. Base GT500 (not Track pack) He ran a best of 11.442 @ 128.3 mph. For comparison, On a "Prepped track" at a FORD event with magazine editors the base GT500 ran a best 11.12 et. Ford claims... the PS4 regular GT500 has the same straight-line acceleration and better trap speeds than the Carbon Track pack GT500. Also a Ford Engineer says the track pack removes the front end lift ( 0 lift or downforce) but the Rear wing provides the 550 lbs @ 180 mph... Guess Ford learned from all the Mustang owners spinning out crashing in all the youtube videos? Push is alot safer at high speeds anyway. Base $73,995 that's including destination but not Tax or $1,288/Mo. for 60 months with 10% down 6% APR. With the Carbon package as tested is $95,495 w/destination cost ($1,662/Mo. with 10% down) but that's without taxes, Loaded and that goes up to $107K. Funny thing is that once you get the Carbon package there isn't any other options except the technology package, the paint, stripes and car covers. Other than the price (you know that Ford dealers are going to sell it for $20k+ over sticker) and the weight (4,200lbs.+/-) is Fat ;-(.. It's a Great muscle car.

Gt500 wins, All SC Challengers have Poor traction.... But the run about the same trap speeds. Challenger wins in the top speed and Cruiser category.

American brands have always put the money into the mechanical parts rather than the interior like European brand do. You won't find a Euro car that performs as well as this for the same price...but it WILL have a Better interior.

@MrMustangrick New Vette isn't a light weight either. 3,535< 3,647 lbs is 450<500 lbs +/- MORE than the 7.0L LS7 Z06 or 175/200lbs more than the last ACR Viper.

CF Track pack removes More than 100 lbs. Each carbon fiber rim is 35 lbs lighter than the stock ones...it also removes the rear seat 50lbs atleast...but adds a CF Wing (+/-15 lbs at most) so you are looking at around 170 lbs lighter than the stock one.

Ford Claims they run almost the same in the 1/4 mile (just the reg. one has a higher trap speed, less drag). Track and street, I bet are a different store. Reg better street ride, CF Package way better on the track. Need to see what it runs on a road course with a professional driver (Laguna Seca has the most times for street models in the USA). Disappointed the Zr-1 couldn't even come close to the ACR's lap time there.
