  1. I feel that juries ought to be forced to give written explanations of their verdict. They don't have to put any one individual's name on it but a written explanation on behalf of the entire jury of their verdict will make it clear as to how they applied the law to the evidence in the case to determine guilt.

  2. I don't know how else to interpret that statement. He said he was basically waiting for the "ah ha" moment so that he could vote to convict.
