  1. This is the issue with populism. It's a tyranny of the majority. If some idea happens to become popular and polls well, it must be implemented because it is the will of the people. This is not how business policy should be made. There should be a clear focus on what works and what doesn't. Raising taxes for the purpose of being able to tell your electorate that look, i made the rich pay is silly.
