  1. Punjabi Hindus and Sikhs lost a lot in the partition because of Muslim violent mischief. Then afterwards a lot of Muslims lost too. However, their brethren started it in 1947 as you know probably. However, Punjabi Hindus and Sikhs received humane treatment as early refugees. Bengali Hindus were not even treated as humans. They were seen as liabilities on the state. It was a total tragedy.
